What We Do
We offer a range of options for getting creative, including workshops, classes, Pottery at Home kits, and more.
Painting is the ultimate in mindfulness, with freedom to be as creative as you wish. Our peaceful studio is the perfect spot to escape to, and suitable for all. Paint beautiful, functional pieces for your home, thoughtful gifts, or make gorgeous memories with the kids. We even offer grown-ups only events such as BYO-PYO, which takes place on the first Friday evening of every month.
We now have a reduced capacity to allow for social distancing between tables, so please book ahead.
We also offer Pottery at Home kits, which can be ordered online and collected from the studio.
The Pottery is also home to Joy Gibbs-Price Ceramics. A qualified and experienced ceramicist and teacher, she makes working with clay accessible to all, providing a wealth of knowledge to help with creating your own artwork.
Joy offers one-off lessons and courses for small groups, as well as her exceptionally popular six-week blocks. These classes get booked up quickly, so contact Joy to check availability.
The Pottery is the perfect venue for parties for both kids and adults!
Pottery parties can now be held indoors (sharing the studio) or outdoors with sole use of our lovely courtyard garden space, complete with marquee. Bring your own food or eat at the café on site.
For adults, including hen parties, leaving dos, and birthdays, we can put on Prosecco & Paint style evening celebrations - just get in touch to find out more.
Spend the day learning a completely new creative skill at The Pottery. We run workshops on a regular basis, and try to explore a variety of creative pursuits. These include silver jewellery making, willow sculpture, and more.
If you already enjoy the buzz of getting your pottery back from the kiln, you will love our specialist glaze workshops with Roz.
During the warmer months, raku workshops offer the opportunity to take part in an ancient outdoor firing process with Joy.
Also see our Facebook page for updates on workshops or to let us know what courses you'd like to see in future!
