Hand Building Clay Workshop

What is it?!

Artisan on The Square is now open as a clay, silver and glass studio. Book your two hour session here on the website and spend a couple of hours with us creating your own pottery piece/s from about a pound of our top quality earthenware clay. We're on hand to help and of course, we have coffee and cake on standby!! This is a very reasonable £39 per person for both visits. Clay cannot be shared. This includes a return visit after your first firing, to paint/glaze your pottery piece/s. We will fire up to 2 items. You could make a house or a mug or a bowl or two smaller items. We’ll show you the basics and you can choose what to make. These sessions can be one offs or repeated over and over again. The beauty of this is you’re not tied in, just book whenever you like. We have lots of cutters and stamps to help you on your way. Glazing must take place within 2 weeks of firing, as storage is premium in our town centre studio. Let's get making!
